Amy ter Haar is a Toronto business lawyer that offers practical and effective legal advice on a comprehensive range of business issues.

• Advising numerous healthcare professionals on diverse business matters, including corporate agreements, risk management, professional incorporation, practice purchases and sales, associate and employment matters, cost-sharing agreements, shareholder agreements, commercial leases, legislative compliance and secured financing agreements
• Representing an international shoe manufacturer in connection with debt recovery, credit control, contract negotiation, risk management and dispute resolution concerning its supply of shoes to Ontario companies
• Acting for an Internet networking company during its start-up, involving financing, intellectual property protection and privacy related matters
• Acting for various clients regarding business purchases and sales, including partial sales and sales of books of business
• Acting for several start-up companies regarding venture capital financing, from initial negotiations to documenting transactions
• Representing investors with regard to securities fraud issues and negotiating settlements with two financial institutions
